Lutheranism: it's the real thing
Rob over at Love and Blunder leads the charge to reclaim the word "evangelical" for the Reformation, with a new advertising campaign.
Great stuff - certainly beats the nonsense that the Churches Advertising Network comes out with each Christmas, such as "Santa Jesus" in 2003 and 2004's utterly baffling "heaven's call centre" ad. (The heading in that last link is particularly good for lovers of unintentional irony: "Lines to Gog open 24/7"? Is that Gog as in "and Magog", end-time enemies of the people of God? Coming soon to a church near you!)
