I love this winning entry from a competition to find a "Chant Laureate". It's a paean to Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel by a north London lawyer and stand-up comedian, Jonny Hurst, who will now travel round English Premier League football grounds next season writing a chant for each team. To be sung to the tune of "Copacabana":

His name is Angel,

An Alice band keeps up his hair,

He came to Villa,

Even if you don't know one end of a football from the other - and even if you have never heard of or (like me) couldn't care less about Aston Villa - you have to admit there's a touch of genius to that.
